The survey has been organized with the help of Vision Mobile

Canonical has been developing Ubuntu for phones for more than a year, and its new OS is already considered stable. Now, users and developers will get a chance to say what they like and what they don't like about Ubuntu Touch in a new survey.

It's not like Canonical to ask people if they like their operating system, even if they rely a lot on what the community wants and reports. It usually has its own plan worked out for the next iteration of Ubuntu, but it's nice to see that it also wants to hear other opinions.

“Our friends at Vision Mobile have launched their 7th Developer Economics survey, providing mobile developers with the opportunity to be heard on the top app developer issues, and how Ubuntu continuously strives to make development as efficient as possible – contribute to the research and find out how your opinion stack against other developers,” reads the announcement on Canonical's website.

Even if the survey is aimed more at developers than normal users, that shouldn't stop anyone from giving their two cents on the matter. Who knows where the next big idea will come from? It could be from one innocent 10-minute survey.
