Canonical has promised that it's going to concentrate more on Ubuntu Touch during the 14.04 development cycle and this is exactly what it's doing, releasing one update after another.

The company has announced that a few new updates have been made available for Ubuntu Touch, in the form of new images. From the developer's message it seems that they overcome a serious bug which was crashing the HUD.

“We finally got the HUD (some tests failures on arm64 made it hard to enter distro), we can confirm on image 49 (tests running) that it's not crashing anymore. One less blocker!”

“We also have a way better pass rate (95% on mako) thanks to the test fixes coming in from the Core apps team! One the positive news, notes-app is confirmed to not randomly stuck at tests anymore,” said Canonical's Didier Roche.

A number of problems still linger, including a few with Unity8, but the OS is improving with each new update.
