Canonical has announced a partnership with Dell to deliver a Dell OpenStack-Powered Cloud Solution, with Ubuntu, in a few countries, more precisely in the United Kingdom, Germany, and China.

The announcement was made at World Hosting Day in Germany on March 21st. Dell OpenStack-Powered Cloud Solution, will be available for Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin).

According to Canonical, Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS is built with the latest Linux and OpenStack technologies and the developers are making sure that will integrate well with Dell's OpenStack.

The partnership between Dell an Canonical comes at a fortuitous time as Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS is about to launch in less than a month, on April 26th.

Users of this OS will also benefit from Ubuntu Advantage, a service that provides access to Canonical's Global Support & Services (GSS) team around-the-clock coverage for Ubuntu deployments all over the world.
