The new device looks a little like the Apple Magic Mouse

Canonical has a store with various products like t-shirts, mugs, and alike, and now a new product has been added. It's called the Ubuntu Wireless Mouse and it looks great, albeit it also looks quite a lot like Apple Magic Mouse.

The only thing the two devices have in common is the overall design, but the shape is a little bit different. It's definitely not your average mouse and it's built to impress. It also has a little scroll wheel at the right thumb, which might require a little bit of getting used to. It's also worth pointing out that the Apple Magic Mouse can be used in concert with the keyboard for the right click, but that is not the case here or at least it's not specified.

The eerie resemblance with Apple Magic Mouse won't go unnoticed, but it's good that Ubuntu fans have something more to buy than just t-shirts or flexible keyboards. This is the kind of devices built to attract attention and not many users know that Apple has something like it. In fact, it's quite possible that the real device might be very different from Apple's mouse.

Ubuntu Wireless Mouse is quite cheap

Despite the fact that it looks great, the mouse is quite cheap. We won't be sure about the built quality until we get our hand on one, but even so the price of £25 ($38) is affordable.

"Go wireless with the new and improved Ubuntu mouse. The simple, yet clean design features a discrete Ubuntu logo etched into the mouse which illuminates white when in use. If that's not enough, the two rechargeable power sticks included with the mouse, will make getting new batteries a thing of the past," is noted in the official store.

The mouse was just added to the store, so not too many people know about it. It's very likely that once the news hits the online community, it will get out of stock pretty fast.
