14 DAY TRIAL // CES 2014 is around the corner, and all important camera and optics manufacturers are preparing to unveil new products during the first large show of the year.
According to a recent post on DCFever's Facebook page, Canon will hold a press conference in Hong Kong on January 9, which corresponds with CES 2014’s second to last day.
At the same time, the press conference takes place two days after Nikon makes its announcement at this year's Consumer Electronics Show. The last news that came from Asia regarding Canon products involved a new white Rebel SL1 / 100D and the company's second mirrorless camera model, the EOS M2.
For the moment, it is not yet known what the company will announce on that day, but speculations are going wild for the Facebook post. Whether we will get a glimpse of the rumored successor of EOS 7D or a few brand new lenses, it remains to be seen.
