14 DAY TRIAL // Following the teaser image posted by Canon Korea on their website, Digicameinfo discovered a new video teaser posted on the official Canon Japan Facebook page, called “White Kiss.”
Although the teaser doesn't come with any other details about the upcoming Canon digital camera, we can only speculate on its true meaning. If we analyze this teaser closely and have in mind that most of Canon's entry-level DSLRs are called EOS Kiss Digital X in Japan, this could hint that the upcoming DSLR will indeed be a white version of Canon's entry-level digital cameras.
The digital cameras (including older models) that qualify for this assumption are: 1000D, 1100D, 100D, 300D, 350D, 400D, 450D, 500D, 550D, 600D, 650D, and 700D.
Moreover, the Christmas theme presented in the teaser can lead us to think that this new camera will be launched around Christmas this year. For now, this is only speculation and I guess we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement to confirm them.
