Canon is rumored to release firmware version 1.0.8.1.00 for their C300 camera in a short time. According to the leaked changelog, the new update will offer a more reliable control over some of the EF lens products that can be mounted on the camera.

New corrections have been brought to the Spanish and German language texts in the View Assistance function and efforts have been made to correct image color fringing when a subject is of high contrast.

The reasons this camera is a filmmakers’ choice are quite numerous. To begin with, the lenses are interchangeable, varying from compact primes to Tilt-Shift, Macro and Fisheye. A total number of lens options is over 60.

Ergonomics and design make the camera easy to operate. All the keys and dials are put in a logical order and a “Lock” switch turns off all controls except recording and function buttons, so you can't accidentally mess something up.

Stay tuned as we will come back with the official release in a short while.
