Unfortunately, no image shows EOS M2 performance at high ISO settings

Canon announced today their second mirrorless camera, the EOS M2, and now the first official sample images and a sample video have been published on Canon Japan's website.

The images were shot in various lighting conditions, but unfortunately, we can't assess Canon's EOS M2 low light performance (at least at a visual level) due to the lack of photos with an ISO value above ISO800.

As you can see from these images, the new Canon M2 camera performs very well in various shooting conditions with no visual noise until ISO800. It would have been great if the Nippon giant posted some high ISO photos to see the noise level at different ISO settings.

The sample video on the other hand, was shot in Full HD mode, but for streaming purposes it has been scaled down to half of its original resolution. From what we can see the sample video looks clean and crisp, with smooth and precise focus transitions.

Check out the gallery bellow for a few image samples shot with the Canon EOS M2 camera. If you want to see the full resolution images and video, you should head to Canon Japan's website.
