Recently unveiled by Canon Japan and Canon China, the new EOS M2 mirrorless digital camera was announced to hit store shelves starting mid-December.

According to Dcwatch, Canon's second interchangeable-lens camera will be available for purchase in Japan starting December 20. The new Canon EOS M2 comes in two versions (Black and White) as well as three different lens kits (triple lens kit, double lens kit and EF-M18-55 IS STM lens kit).

As we previously reported, the camera will be sold exclusively on the Asian market (at least for the moment). Recent information states that Canon has no plans to distribute their new mirrorless model in South and Southeast Asia region due to a low market demand.

In addition to that, the debut campaign also comes with a leather Boston bag giveaway for all customers that purchase the new Canon mirrorless camera.
