Now that the Canon 7D Mark II has been officially announced, the rumor mill seems pretty devoid and empty, doesn’t it?

Not to worry, Canon Watch is here to fill this barren space and give you something to chew on for the next few months.

Apparently, Canon does not have time to relax after the launch of the Canon 7D Mark II, as the company is already hard at work on its future products.

One of them is touted as the Canon 6D Mark II and is said to arrive with a Dual Pixel CMOS AF system and a tilting display.

The Dual Pixel AF has been with Canon ever since the advent of the 70D, which was then followed by the 7D Mark II.

For the time being, we don’t know if the same version will make it into the 6D Mark II, but I tend to believe the camera will arrive with a revamped system.

On top of that, Canon is said to be working on the Canon 5D Mark IV too, which the sources claim might sport 4K video recording. The 5D Mark III replacement will also take advantage of the Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology. No word on the tilting display, however.
