You probably don't remember much about a zany game called The Kore Gang and announced for the original Xbox console sometime in 2003. One of the main reasons you are allowed not to remember it is the fact that the game was at most a good idea - production stopped soon after it begun and nobody has ever heard anything about it since.

However, it seems that the project is not completely dead - some people still had the original ideas in their minds and were just waiting for the right time to start creating. That time is now, since Zoink Games and SnapDragon have decided to begin the development process of the game, which will now be called KORE. And it will be a Nintendo Wii exclusive with improved graphics and upgraded visuals. Yes, as hard it is to believe, the Nintendo Wii can provide better graphics than an Xbox console.

Zoink's Creative Director Klaus Lyngeled said "KORE stands out not only for its rich gameplay experience and signature art style, but also for its wacky scenario and sense of humor. During the last years, a vast amount of work has gone into the design as well as into the story and cinematics, and I am sure the audience will appreciate the way we poured our heartblood into it."

Indeed, if you do your best and try to remember the concept art released eons ago, you will agree with the fact that Kore was a strange, original and promising title. We're really sure it will be the same now: it will allow you to control three different characters (Pixie, Madboy and Rex), all stuck in a robotic suit that increases their powers. But that's a good thing, since they have to fight against the Krank brothers who plan to attack the center of the Earth and, thus, cause mass destruction. But with the help of your skills, the Krank brothers will become history.

However, there is no release date set yet for KORE, but some rumors say that we shouldn't expect it to be ready sooner than 2009.
