Canadian Bureau of Statistics Defaced by Hitcher

The official website of the Canadian Bureau of Statistics (stats.gov.nt.ca) was breached by Hitcher, a hacker part of the Pak Cyber Force group.

After gaining access to the site, the hacker defaced three of its subdomains to post “Free Palestine” messages.

“To the ignorant observer Israel may appear modern, vigorous and democratic largely thanks to the outrageous bias in Western media and the $$$ [expletive] whom have become our leaders...now wake up!!!” the hacker wrote.

At the time of writing, the affected subdomains still displayed the message and the images posted by the hacker.

Voice of Grey Hat informs that the same hacker took credit for breaching sites such as the Fin Bank of Nigeria, Cambridge Communications Limited, the Geological Society of India, Progate Corp, and Israeli Amitec.
