Even though it might be most focused on laptops, Acer saw nothing wrong with releasing a pair of all-in-one systems, the so-called Aspire Z3 and Z5, which have now been sent over to Canada to enchant end-users with their capabilities.

The Acer Aspire Z3 and Z5 are built in such a way as to provide a strong set of hardware while still maintaining at least a semblance of affordability, at least as far as AiO computers allow.

The Z5 can be seen as the more powerful of the two and has a configuration based on either an Intel Core i3 CPU or an equivalent central processing unit from Advanced Micro Devices.

The selected CPU is backed up by up to 8 GB of RAM, while the maximum storage capacity that one can get is 1 TB.

In addition, the system includes the Radeon HD 5770 graphics card, unless buyers decide to settle for the Intel GMA (Graphics Media Accelerator) X4500HD.

Furthermore, the 23-inch machine has a chrome and black bezel and, of course, a screen with support for 1,080p resolutions.

The Z3 is somewhat less mighty, being powered by either and Intel Pentium or AMD Athlon II CPU.

In this case, the top memory amount is 4 GB and, while the Intel GMA X4500HD GPU is still the standard option, there is also the possibility of adding the NVIDIA 9200.

Other specifications include a Full HD screen of 21.5 inches, a gray and black bezel and a hard disk drive of 1 TB.

As for what the two have in common, there is a mention of multi-touch technology, for a higher level of interactivity, among other things.

The two systems, according to reports, are already selling in Canada, where the Acer Aspire Z3 has a starting price of $649 and the Z5 begins at $849.
