I've been kinda busy yesterday and as much as I wished to write about this, I just couldn't find the time. But well, it's never too late they say. And so I have the pleasure of writing about it now. I'm referring to the Art Of Elysium event. There's just something about Dolde&Gabbana that makes a girl wanna strut her stuff the best way she can. And we had strutting, I tell you that! Jessica Biel, Penelope Cruz, Salma Hayek, Rose McGowan and Eva Longoria should be enough for you. They gave it their best and we got to see them all dressed up for the occasion.
Eva Longoria wore a black dress, just below the knees, acceptable. Matching shoes and all but I have to say that she didn't quite impress me. I don't know why because she looks good but she had nothing on her to make me go "wow".
Penelope Cruz was "decent" (boring kinda) and elegant wearing a classic combination of golden and black. I would have expected much more from her. Mhmher hair was a mess though, something just did't look good on her but well, I'm not the fashion critic to say what. I do like the earrings and the bracelet though. Just precious!
Salma Hayek is a beauty indeed, as we've seen from the recent photos for the Campari campaign. She looks gorgeous in those pictures, no doubt about it. If you want to take a look for yourselves, just go
here and enjoy the "Campari spirit". Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment to me seeing her at this event. I mean, the girl isnot the most beautiful woman (to say the least). I don't remember seeing her like this in a long, long time or probably never. Her hair is not great, her outfit says a big no,no and she has too much on. She must have thought that she looks better with the overcoat on, otherwise, why would she have worn it over the dress all the time? Or maybe the dress is not that pretty. All in all, I'm repressing this image and moving on.
Talking about Eva McGowan, I have to say that she looked classy. Yes, she did. Red looks good on her. Good hair, nice dress, and the earrings are just adorable. I just love that golden purse and the model. Nice going, Eva!
Last but absolutely not the least, Jessica Biel. The gal never seizes to amaze me lately. What has caused this, I wonder. Fabulous and speechless. I never thought that pockets go well on a classic dress design, not to say stupendous. I am shocked (in a good way, of course). Jessica rocks I say, no doubt about it! She's perfect and as a matter a fact, she makes me jealous. There, I said it. I am jealous. I would just kill to have that hoot bod. Too bad that I don't have the drive to work out as mush as she does so I'll stick to admiring her. Simple outfit yet extremely effective and the shoes are just perfect. Notice the strap dress design again which seems to do wonders for her. Nice going Jessica and let them have it girl 'cause you definitely have what to flaunt!
Let me end this article by giving a big, no, huge, hand to Jessica this time too and letting you enjoy the pictures below.
