Today, TechSmith rolled out a new update for Camtasia Studio screen recording and video editing utility. Though minor, build 8.2 of the application includes fresh importing and sharing capabilities.

Starting this version, Camtasia Studio can add media files straight from Google Drive, and it allows sharing video to this service. Furthermore, it can work with mobile devices through TechSmith Fuse app for Android and iOS in order to import video and image files.

The functionality of the suite has been increased through a small set of fixes as well. As such, build 8.2 should no longer crash occasionally when drawing waveforms for some audio clips.

Another issue addressed in the current revision refers to hanging of the software when attempting to import unsupported file types.

Furthermore, the developer informs that the problem with mouse click sounds not being available in the recorded file should no longer occur, and that using a transparent color with a watermark does not show as black anymore.

Download Camtasia Studio 8.2 to get rid of the glitch that prevented, on some occasions, adding media to the timeline by dragging it from the library.
