14 DAY TRIAL // TechSmith released a new maintenance build for Camtasia Studio. The program is now at revision 8.1.2, which incorporates only repairs. It is a small revision, with just three entries in the change log.
In the previous builds, swapping markers from timeline to media could sometimes create duplicate markers; this is no longer the case as the bug has been eliminated.
Some users would have trouble updating the application to 8.1.1 because of an issue with the installer. The effect of the glitch would be the complete uninstall of version 8.x of the program as well.
Another glitch addressed in this build refers to a hang that occurred when exiting the application. Camtasia Studio would still be visible on the screen but nothing would happen unless the user terminated the process using a competent process manager.
