In the past year or so, Cameron Diaz turned herself into somewhat of a recluse. We haven't seen her out and about as much as we used to, and she hasn't made nearly as many movies as we would have expected from one of the only three actresses in the world who can brag about belonging to the much-hyped "20-million club", earning $20 million for a role (the other two are Julia Roberts and Reese Witherspoon). However, after her much-hyped break from Justin Timberlake and after being consistently linked with some of Hollywood's hottest singles, Diaz finally decided to talk about her life as a single girl - and show every single guy she hasn't already dated what he's missing by posing in a provocative bikini in this month's GQ.
"I like boys - a lot. I'm boy crazy. That hasn't changed since I was very young," she revealed, thus leaving no doubts in anyone's mind about the fact that -
single though she may be - she's not going to stay like that for too long. "I do get asked out. It's fun . . . I'm a lot of woman - in a lot of ways. And I understand that can be intimidating," she also states. Which makes it sound like she's still having a little bit of trouble finding Mister Perfect. Given the easy-going, flirty reputation Cameron has been enjoying lately, it simply sounds like she was trying to avoid commitment and have fun while not having to cope with the responsibilities brought about by a relationship.
However, Cameron is certain she can still bear the strains of a serious relationship. "When I'm in a relationship I'm very loyal and committed. I give a lot . . . But it's been nice not having a boyfriend for the past year. In fact it's the first time I haven't had one in ten years and I'm enjoying what I'm getting out of this moment . . . I could be in a relationship if I wanted to be but I haven't finished doing what I'm doing." Which sounds a little like sour grapes, and a lot more like Cameron has something in the works that hasn't been made public yet. Stay tuned for the latest news.
