Less than a month after giving birth to Vida, model already looks slim

For Matthew McConaughey and his model girlfriend Camila Alves, 2010 started with one more reason to smile than for the rest of the world, as the couple welcomed their second child, a baby girl they named Vida. Now, less than a month after giving birth, Camila is already working the red carpet and looking stunning and almost thin again in body-hugging black dress, as Us Magazine can confirm.

Granted, it didn’t take the model long to lose the baby weight the first time either, when she gave birth to son Levi in the summer of 2008 but, by all counts, a little under a month seems almost unbelievable. Then again, celebrities are known for getting things done quickly but, in Camila’s case, this is more of a situation of believe not what your eyes are telling you, as some womanly tricks are also involved.

“Camila Alves debuted her smokin’ hot post-baby bod in a skin-tight black dress on the red carpet over the weekend – less than a month after welcoming daughter Vida. (The former model, 27, and boyfriend Matthew McConaughey, 40, are also parents to Levi, 18 months). Her secrets to snapping back into shape? ‘Don’t do anything crazy. Try to keep it basic,’ She told UsMagazine while promoting her Bravo show, Shear Genius,” the aforementioned publication writes.

Luckily, being a model and a designer herself, Camila knows which are the items that best flatter her body as it is now. “‘I think that after you have a baby, you still have a little belly. Things are not back to normal yet,’ she went on. ‘The flowy stuff and the layers really, really help.’ Not to mention: ‘We’ve got Spanx!’ she said, referring to spandex undergarments. ‘We’ve got things that can help’,” Us Magazine further informs, citing Alves herself.

Over the weekend, Matthew posted on his official website the first photo of baby Vida, taken straight on the hospital bed the day she was born. The photo was accompanied only by the note “Our latest family member, Vida Alves McConaughey,” but the expression on the faces of the two parents spoke volumes.
