Surgeon says star's radiant look might be down to some subtle work

Cameron Diaz has always been very open on issues other female stars would rather not discuss with the press, such as aging, her body, and her idea of beauty and perfection. She is now making headlines for allegedly getting subtle work.

For a few weeks, there's been a lot of whispering online about how Diaz, famously rather flat-chested, appears to be rocking a more voluptuous cleavage, which could only mean she got implants.

Today's glossies and tabloids add more fuel to the fire: she's also had some subtle work done to her face, as photos available online would confirm.

Radar Online, for one, believes that's the case – and it even has an expert to vouch for it, even if he has never met or treated Cameron.

“There's something about Cameron Diaz's face that is very unusual,” celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn says, after looking at photos of the star at the Paris Fashion Week, where she attended the 2012 Versace Spring / Summer fashion show.

“She looks like she's preparing to take her costar Jim Carrey's role in The Mask!” Dr. Youn adds, making a not so subtle reference to the film that proved Cameron's launching pad in Hollywood.

The tell-tale signs of the procedures are all there, in Cameron's face, the expert says.

“Her forehead is excessively smooth, a possible consequence of overdone Botox injections. Her face also looks extremely shiny,” he explains.

“Although I do not believe she's had a facelift. Laser treatments or chemical peels could account for her smooth, shiny skin. I recommend that she get some mattifying gel as soon as possible to calm it down,” Dr. Youn adds.

He's not the only one to say that Cameron is looking different these days – and it's not entirely because of her new, shorter hairdo.

The Daily Mail also thinks that something is rotten in the State of Denmark, as the saying goes, as also do countless other publications of the kind.
