Smoking pot in front of the paparazzi or right in the middle of the crowdiest (it's not a word, I know) of all crowded streets is becoming a trend. First, it was Paris Hilton. Obviously, she being the oh, so important person that she is, no one objected to her doing drugs (not only pot) in all possible places.

Then, there came the Paris Hilton-aspirant, the former 'The O.C' alum, Mischa Barton. It was just this past weekend that she was snapped while waiting for the color to change on an L.A street, lighting up a joint and then inhaling satisfied. While any one can understand that the stress of waiting in your car on a hot day, when you're stuck in traffic, could kill somebody, the solution Mischa came up with is not quite so cool. And neither 100 percent legal. But, at least, the girl put her spare time to good use: one can almost see what goes on in her mind the moment she inhales the smoke: 'Dude, this s**t is top-notch quality!'.

To return to what I was saying before, stuff like this is becoming very hot with celebrities. While this post is not meant to be a sermon or anything of the kind, maybe celebs like these should consider that they ARE role models and that there are thousands of people who look up to them and who want to imitate their every gesture. If they really want to do drugs, they should at least hide their habit from the cameras. It's the least they owe us!

This is Cameron Diaz on Saturday. She and long time gal pal Drew Barrymore spent some quality time in Hawaii because, you see, Cam had to get over Justin and Drew had a birthday to celebrate. While they were at it, the girls also lit up a joint which they later, in true spirit of friendship and sisterhood, passed on from one to another. (Or maybe they're too cheap and they roll their own cigarettes - that is another possibility that should be taken into consideration.)

The only excuse for Cam and Drew I could think of in this situation is that they didn't know they were being photographed. But that would be like saying 'I'm sorry I had sex with your best friend because I didn't know you would come home right when I was in bed with him/her'. Then again, they both do look kinda hot so maybe we should all focus on that and let the 'alleged' drug use go unnoticed for once. Or not... you choose.
