Famous couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake teamed up with Frankfurt Zoological Society for a veterinarian mission in Africa, to vaccinate dogs and collar a lion.
The pair were in Africa to shoot an episode of Diaz's MTV travel show "Trippin' in Tanzania", with friends Jimmy Fallon, and Talib Kweli, when they received an invitation from the Frankfurt Society to attend them in their vet mission, in a Masai village.
And so, they risked life and arms to help the vets to take blood samples and a dental mould from a snoozing lion, and vaccinated the village's pets.
Diaz explains, "In 1994, an outbreak of canine distemper killed over 1,000 of the Serengeti's lions. "Since then, one of the ways the FZS has been working to prevent a similar incident is by vaccinating the dogs in the area."
