According to statistics compiled by security giant McAfee, Cameron Diaz was the celebrity with the highest number of online threats associated to their name this year.

McAfee's researchers report that people searching for keywords like "Cameron Diaz," "Cameron Diaz downloads," "Cameron Diaz screen savers," "Cameron Diaz wallpaper," "Cameron Diaz photos" and "Cameron Diaz videos" have a one in ten chance of ending up on website associated with spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware.

In order to work out the risk percentages the company used information from its SiteAdvisor system, which scans websites to determine if they are malicious.

Cameron Diaz is followed in McAfee's top by Julia Roberts, with a risk rating of 9 percent. Jessica Biel, last year's most dangerous celebrity now takes the third spot with a similar score.

Gisele Bündchen, the world’s best-paid supermodel moved up the list and is now in forth place, while Brad Pitt, the 2008 winner – if we can call leading such a list that – came fifth.

The rest of the top is completed by Adriana Lima, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Nicole Kidman – they were listed together; we don't know why, but don't argue with it either – Tom Cruise, Heidi Klum and Penelope Cruz – another pair apparently – and Anna Paquin.

McAfee's study even unearthed some surprises. Justin Bieber, one of the most popular celebrities at the moment is not only missing from the top, but is way down the list at position #46.

However, during the past couple of weeks we reported about several Bieber-themed scams and black hat search engine optimization campaigns, so his risk rating might escalate in the foreseeable future.

Lady Gaga, another widely acclaimed star is also poorly positioned – or well, depending on how you look at it – at number 36.
