Jennifer Lopez has the reputation of a true diva and, if this new report is accurate, she’s living up to it. Now working on “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” Lopez and co-star Cameron Diaz are constantly fighting on set. In her many interviews throughout the years, JLo has never ceased to try to convince the world that all those diva rumors about her are unfounded.
This recent report in Star (story via
here) is doing nothing in terms of making the rumors go away: apparently, Lopez and Diaz are acting like spoiled brats on the set of the film and are fighting almost all the time.
“Jennifer and Cameron don’t like each other. They don’t interact much, but when they do, the tension is thick,” a spy familiar with the production says for the celebrity magazine.
Apparently, the fact that Lopez has already made friends
on set is only making her dislike of Cameron (the feeling is mutual, of course) more obvious.
As far as she’s concerned, Diaz believes Lopez doesn’t belong on the set because she’s untalented and, just as importantly, she brings too much drama with her, shifting the focus from the film to her personal life.
“Cam sees all that stuff and hoopla around JLo’s divorce from Marc Anthony and whether she’s dating Rodrigo [Santoro] as a distraction from work,” the spy explains.
“She’s also annoyed by Jennifer’s huge entourage, which includes her mom, three assistants, makeup and hair people and her manager. She made a snide comment to the effect of, ‘How many people does it take for one woman to film a simple scene?’” the insider goes on to say.
In what could be seen as the ultimate diss, Cameron “said Jennifer has a lot to learn and made a dig about how she’d be better off sticking to her day jobs – meaning singing and judging Idol…,” the tipster recalls.
However, far from being offended by that last remark, as of late, Lopez has found a new approach to the problem: pretend it doesn’t exist.
“[JLo] doesn’t seem to care. She doesn’t talk about Cam or ask about her. She just acts as if Cam doesn’t exist,” another source says for the same publication.
