The beautiful actress has recently declared she has no intent of appearing on stages of London or New York, as she is not interested in live performance, according to Contactmusic.com.
She claims that her poor memory wouldn't help her: "I could never do theatre. I can't remember my lines."
As she used to work as a model before landing on important film roles, Cameron Diaz was many times 'accused' of being more beautiful than talented.
With her latest movie, "In Her Shoes", Diaz hopes to put an end to that.
She also insisted that she has accepted unglamorous roles in "Being John Malkovich" and "Gangs Of New York" only to prove her talent.
"After I put on the fright-wig in Being John Malkovich and worked with Martin Scorsese in Gangs Of New York? Well, you're always going to get that to an extent if you're a model-turned-actress.
Just because I enjoy what I do, doesn't mean I'm not serious about it. I work my butt off", Diaz said.
"Maybe this movie will finally lay those stories to rest", the actress said about "In Her Shoes".
