One of the best camera apps on iOS today, Camera+ from tap tap tap has been promoted to version 5.1 and includes new features and enhancements, among which an all-new BOOST mode.

Camera+ 5.1 makes refinements to The Lab and includes usability tweaks, as  well as the ability to tap and hold an adjustment to reset it.

A new setting is available to choose a template to begin with when you edit your photos.

“This is nice if you always want to go straight to The Lab, for instance,” explains tap tap tap.

A new BOOST feature lets you bump the intensity of existing filters up to 200%, and you can now take widescreen photos with the new 16×9 shooting mode.

“And we’ve spent a good amount of time fixing bugs for this version. Many were esoteric and only occurred on particular hardware, but we did our very best to try and resolve all known issues for this release. If any of you experience any further issues, please report them to us,” says the developer.

Download Camera+ 5.1 for any iDevice with iOS 6.0 installed.
