City State Entertainment’s Camelot Unchained is currently in development, after the massive success of the May 2013 Kickstarter campaign that secured funding for the title.

The massively multiplayer online role playing game is considered a spiritual successor to Dark Age of Camelot, and will be a PvP centric game based on the legend of King Arthur, revolving around the conflict between three different factions.

The game’s official website just leaked some new assets from the work-in-progress game, sharing some concept art for the Hellbound class and teasing the Giant race of the Tuatha De Danann.

According to City State Entertainment’s post, neither the model nor the animation are in their final form yet, but they provide a pretty good approximation of how the character will look and feel in the final version of Camelot Unchained.

The post reveals further information, stating that the team will be getting some new members over the course of the next few weeks and that progress has been made over all aspects of the game.

The first teaser came out back in December, when Mark Jacobs confirmed that the game will revolve mainly around PvP and will have a lot of RvR content, rather than being just another “themepark-style MMO.”

Camelot Unchained is currently scheduled for release sometime during 2015.
