14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier today, I told you about the Camelio TV, a device capable of turning any HDTV into an Android tablet. It turns out that the company behind it, Vivatar also has a Camelio 7-inch tablet available.
The slate is unique by virtue of one aspect, it’s one of the few Android tablets out there which can be personalized with your favorite characters (for example Hello Kitty). The slate has a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
“Personality Packs” are provided to allow users to customize basically everything interface-related, including wallpaper, widgets, lock screens, camera, photo editor. A themed bumper case is also thrown in the bundle.
Interestingly enough, users will be getting different games, videos, music, books, based on the theme they have opted for.
The tablet also has Wi-Fi and camera and could be the perfect family-tablet solution. Everything is powered by a 2800 mAh battery, which isn't much but will allow you a few hours of browsing and games.
The tablet is currently up for grabs from Amazon for $84.99 / €62 a pop.
