Just how many times have you sighed and sworn you'd buy not one more, but two more recharging devices to be able to keep up with the speed of the depleting batteries in your gadgets? Myself, I've even
stopped counting because it's absolutely no point in keeping track of what's happening in this direction. Yet, it looks like some other individuals were not at all content with such a situation and strived to see it dealt with once and for all; and seemingly, this is the way the Callpad came into being.

The Callpad is one simple piece of technology, so simple that it's almost childish. It works on the same principle as the Belkin Star audio splitter but it passes current from a single source to no less than six devices simultaneously, and this, my friends, rocks!

Callpad, fit for iPod, iPhone, Samsung, Motorola and Nokia phones, Palm Treo and Sony PSP.

Now, you name it, and the Callpad recharging system will accommodate it: multiple mobile phones and PDAs, headsets and digital cameras, MP3 players and other portable media devices, including the ubiquitous iPod and iPhone. The Callpad boasts built-in support for iPod/iPhone, Nokia cell phones, Motorola cell phones, Palm Treo, Sony PSP and Samsung cell phones, thus giving you a rather hefty sum of devices that can be charged using it at the same time.

And if you were wondering what else comes with the Callpad, here we go: the box also contains the special AC charger and a DC car charger so your charging possibilities won't be reduces to the domestic area or the perimeter of your office. And everything comes with a neat carrying case for solid comfort during traveling because, as I expect you to have already figured it out, the Callpad has been created for those on the go, carrying a lot of small electronics with them.

The Callpad retails through the nifty Hammacher Schlemmer webshop and will drain just under $100 from your budget. And if you want to give it to someone as a present, for a couple of bucks more, they'll giftwrap it for you.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
