14 DAY TRIAL // Calligra 2.7, an integrated suite of applications for office, creative, and management needs, was released on August 1.
The current version of Calligra also runs on mobile platforms, namely Calligra Mobile and Calligra Active.
Highlights of Calligra 2.7:
• The Word application now features a new look for the toolbox and some new controls have been added; • Styles are now sorted with the used ones first in the style selector, which should make users’ lives a lot easier; • The Author application now comes with EPUB3 support. Users can export mathematical formulas and multimedia contents straight to the EPUB format; • A new export filter for common text has been implemented; • Enhancements have been implemented for the DOCX import filter.
