Calligra 2.6 Beta Is Available for Testing, Brings Major Features

Calligra 2.6 Beta, an integrated suite that offers a comprehensive set of eight applications which satisfies the office, graphics and management needs of users, has been officially released.

Highlights of Calligra 2.6 Beta:

• Plan, the project management application, has updated scheduling information;
• In Kexi, the visual database creator, overwriting objects with the same name is now possible;
• Calligra will now load and save 3D shapes and annotation;
• Calligra Active, the tablet version of Calligra, has new preview for text documents, a simplified UI, and a few other features.

The current version of Calligra also runs on mobile platforms, named Calligra Mobile and Calligra Active.
