Call of Juarez is one of the most successful first-person shooters for PC use. Breakpoint is currently working on ways to bring this game concept on mobile phones too.
Breakpoint seems to have managed to find ways as to adapt
Call of Juarez to mobile gameplay too and be just as challenging as it has been known to all those who have played it.
Wild West shooters are supposed to provide by definition intense gaming action and fun gun fighting entertainment.
In order to adapt to the constrains of handhelds, the game had to be seen from the top. Moreover, they tried to provide graphics at a high quality and make few compromises on the gaming experience. Breakpoint mainly relies on the continuously growing
performances of mobile phones in order to offer richer visualization and best quality for play time.
"The most important advantage of the cooperation with Breakpoint is making "Call of Juarez" known to the people who have never seen this title before. There is a big chance that the players who will take a liking to the
mobile version will also reach for the PC or X360 versions", said Przemysaw Marmul, International Sales Director of Techland.
"Techland is one of the biggest and best-known Polish game producers home and abroad. Several of its titles, first of all the game "Chrome", have been a success on the international market. We consider our cooperation with Techland as strategic - it will surely increase awareness of Breakpoint brand among players", comments Pawe Feldman, Licensing and Publishing Manager of Breakpoint on their cooperation with the mobile game producing company.
Call of Juarez is currently being prepared by Breakpoint for a release until the end of year 2007. The PC version published by Ubisoft and the Xbox 360 console have both proved to be great successes, so why shouldn't things stand the same way for the mobile version too?
