14 DAY TRIAL // Glu Mobile, in partnership with Activision, has announced that they are currently working on a way to bring the PC game Call of Duty on mobile phones too. The exact title of the game has not been revealed, but it is sure to emphasize the fact that this is indeed a follow-up of the original one.
Call of Duty was released in late 2003 as a first-person shooter video game that simulates World War II situations of battle. The interesting aspect about the game is that it offers several battle perspectives, including that of British, American and Soviet soldiers. Call of Duty received the title of the Game of the Year in 2003, which was awarded by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences.
Several expansion packs and follow-ups of the first Call of Duty game have been developed since its release, as it turned out to be such a big hit in the first place. Mobile phone gaming is only a small step in the evolution of this game.
