A resume of an Infinity Ward software engineer has revealed that the studio is already working on a new game, presumably Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which is going to appear for current devices like PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but also for some TBA (To Be Announced) platforms, hinting at the oft-rumored PlayStation 4 or Xbox 720.

Next-generation platforms are expected in 2013, according to plenty of reports, so many developers have already started working on new projects designed exclusively for the upcoming consoles.

According to a CV from an Infinity Ward software engineer, via Kotaku, the studio is hedging its bets as it’s working on a new game, presumably Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which will appear for platforms like the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, as well as some TBA (To Be Announced) consoles.

The resume also notes that Infinity Ward is working on “a new high-end DirectX 11 code base,” which could hint at a new engine designed to power the game’s next-gen version for the new consoles.
