Activision has seemingly followed the “better late than never” saying with the single-player demo for last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as the company has finally posted a trial version of the first-person shooter on the Xbox 360’s Xbox Live Marketplace.
Modern Warfare 3
came out last year and, as always, broke sales records and achieved impressive numbers thanks to its loyal following.
Now, in order to attract people who’ve yet to try it out, Activision has finally posted a demo for the game’s single-player mode on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
According to its description, the demo sees players engage “in a fierce firefight with Russian infantry and vehicles throughout the financial district of New York City.”
They’ll experience “close quarters urban warfare, controlling air support through the use of an attack drone, and manning a helicopter mini-gun during extraction.”
Will this single-player demo make you get Modern Warfare 3 or are you now focused on the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 2?
