14 DAY TRIAL // Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will get a traditional downloadable content pack in March, which is going to be available for all Xbox 360 owners, no matter their Call of Duty Elite subscription.
While previous Call of Duty games received DLC in the form of map packs released every few months, Modern Warfare 3’s new content is being deployed throughout a season consisting of multiple drops.
Up until now, three maps were released on the Xbox 360 and just two of them on the PS3. Unfortunately, they were available only to premium Call of Duty Elite subscribers, which meant that those with just free accounts couldn’t get to play on levels like Liberation, Piazza, or Overwatch.
Now, Activision has finally revealed when regular Elite members can get their hands on this fresh DLC, confirming that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 pack is going to appear on March 20, on the Xbox 360.
The pack will include Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch, as well as a new map called Black Box, not to mention two new levels for the Spec Ops mode, called Black Ice and Negotiator.
Call of Duty Elite premium subscribers will get Black Box, Black Ice and Negotiator one week early, on March 13, on the Xbox 360.

Cash in all your karma as you head to India for high-stakes hostage extraction in "Negotiator," an all-new Special Ops mission in which you'll breach-and-clear rooms and navigate surface streets to secure the safety of your VIPs. This marks the first time Special Ops has been made downloadable online in franchise history. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 is set to arrive on other platforms, like the PS3 or PC, probably a month after the Xbox 360.
