14 DAY TRIAL // The new Call of Duty: Ghosts title from developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision will include a mode called Extinction, which is designed to offer an experience similar to that seen in the Zombies feature from the Black Ops series.
MP1st has spotted a frame that reveals the new mode in the Squads trailer for the first-person shooter and a number of Achievements linked to the game also mention it.
There are descriptions like: “Escape with all four players,” “Escape 1st time,” “Reach the exfil chopper with 1 minute and 30 seconds or more remaining on the clock,” “Complete all Extinction challenges and escape,” “Get 50 kills with the electric fence and fire traps in a single game.”
They suggest that gamers with various equipment loadouts will have to work together in order to take out unmentioned enemies that attack in waves and cannot be repulsed entirely.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched worldwide on November 5.
