Call of Duty: Ghosts has not yet been confirmed by publisher Activision or any development team, but rumors suggest that the game will use an entirely new game engine, designed specifically to increase the visual fidelity of the first-person shooter experience.

The official description from Tesco states, "Call of Duty: Ghosts ushers in the next generation of the franchise, delivering a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast, all powered by a new next-generation Call of Duty engine."

The text also says that Infinity Ward will be in charge of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The game is expected to come with a complex single-player mode and improvements for the very popular multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is expected to arrive on the PC, current-generation home consoles, the Xbox 720 and the PlayStation 4 in the fall of this year.
