Developer Infinity Ward says that Call of Duty: Ghosts will offer support for dedicated servers on all platforms, not just the PC and the Xbox One as was previously revealed.

Mark Rubin, an executive producer working on the first-person shooter, is quoted by VG247 as saying that, “in order to make sure that people have the best possible experience regardless of platform, location or connection, Ghosts will be using a hybrid system of dedicated servers and listen servers.”

This means that gamers will always get the best possible online connection and allows Infinity Ward to include new tech for the matchmaking system that will deliver better matches.

Rubin says that a server browser and ranked servers can be rented by player groups after Call of Duty: Ghosts is launched.

The shooter will be out on November 5 on the PC, the Wii U and current-gen consoles.
