One of Infinity Ward's community managers has confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts, the next-gen game from the developer, will have a cooperative multiplayer mode.

However, it's unclear if it will still consist of the Spec Ops experience seen in the Modern Warfare series.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will open a new chapter for the Call of Duty franchise, and developer Infinity Ward wants to implement quite a few new mechanics.

Even so, it won't abandon tried and true things, like a co-op mode, as the studio's Community Coordinator, Candice Capen, has revealed on Twitter that a cooperative multiplayer experience is included in Ghosts.

No details are available and it's unclear when the studio will present the co-op mode to the world, so fans will have to wait and see if it will be anything like the Spec Ops experience from Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
