The development team at Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are delivering a new trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts which serves to tease the reveal of the new multiplayer modes of the game, set to take place on August 14.

The footage disappointingly does not feature any actual gameplay, but the lovely art direction of the game is used to show fans a number of dates and locations, some of which seem to be linked with coming events in the real world.

The only message from the team is, "Tune in on August 14th at 10:30am PDT to watch the Call of Duty: Ghosts Global Multiplayer Reveal, presented by Xbox."

The success of the new first-person shooter will heavily depend on its multiplayer design.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched on November 5 on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and versions of the game will also be delivered on the next-gen devices from both Sony and Microsoft.
