It looks like the battle of consoles is still raging and for the first time in a long time the Xbox One has the upper hand, but hopefully not for long. There have been many reports coming from reviewers that Call of Duty: Ghosts has some frame rate issues on PlayStation 4.

As Kotaku points out, one of the first publications to notice these issue, Polygon, said “The Xbox One release's framerate was far more noticeable.

As mentioned in the initial review, Call of Duty: Ghosts suffers from consistent framerate drops on the PS4, especially during multiplayer when action got especially hectic. The Xbox One version suffered no such drops, maintaining a steady 60 frames per second throughout.”

Many other reviewers highlighted the problem, including IGN and Videogamer. However, this will not last too long, hopefully, as GiantBomb reports Infinity Ward has already acknowledged the problem and is already working on a patch. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
