After learning that Call of Duty: Ghosts runs at 1080p (1920x1080) on PS4 and 720p (1280x720) on Xbox One, it seems that the Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of the game will run at 880x720 resolution, according to a new report fueled by a confirmation of the Wii U resolution from Treyarch.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to arrive next week and the fact that it will debut on next-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) besides current-gen platforms (PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U) has fueled a heated debate over which version is superior.

After hearing that the Xbox One edition runs natively at 720p and will be upscaled to 1080p, the developer of the Wii U version of the game, Treyarch, has confirmed that the title will retain the same resolution as Black Ops 2's Wii U edition, which is 880x720.

According to NeoGAF members, that is the same resolution at which the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Ghosts will run, so there will be parity on current-gen systems, but nothing has been officially confirmed.
