The development team at Infinity Ward and publisher Activision announce that the final downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts, called Nemesis, is set to be launched exclusively on the Xbox One and the 360 on August 5.

The main feature of the coming DLC are four new multiplayer maps, each of them with a complete set of Field Orders that shape the action in unique ways.

Goldrush is linked to an abandoned gold mine, with tunnels funneling the action and shafts designed for long-range combat, and Infinity Ward says that a pack of wolves can be released by players to take out their enemies.

Subzero takes gamers to a submarine base in Canada that has been evacuated in a rush, and the field orders will unleash a powerful and mysterious presence that can take out a lot of players very quickly.

Dynasty is set in a Chinese village on the edge of a lake, with plenty of elevation and flanking routes to take advantage of, and the unique feature of the map is a strike from fighter jets, with one of them remaining behind to offer a team control over the airspace.

Showtime is a recreation of the classic Shipment from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, a small map where shotguns and sub-machine guns deliver the best performance.

The map has three killstreaks: automated gun turrets, an air drop with care packages or a powerful gas attack.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Nemesis will also include the fourth episode in the Extinction mode, called Exodus, which allows players to escape the alien assault by choosing their path to salvation and by crafting new weapons.

Mark Rubin, the executive producer at Infinity Ward working on the DLC, states, "First off I want to thank every one of our fans. The dedication of our players is overwhelming. The whole team at Infinity Ward is really excited about the release of the Nemesis and we think it's a great way to close out what's been a really fun DLC season."

He adds, "DLC is a great way to unleash creative new content that is often the direct result of community feedback and interaction. So thank you again to the millions of people who play Call of Duty: Ghosts every day and keep the feedback coming!"

Call of Duty: Ghosts Nemesis also includes an appearance from the Predator and one from Michael Myers, and gamers will also be able to use the Maverick, which mixes assault and sniper rifle capabilities and the Ripper blend of SMG and assault rifle.
