The development team at Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are ready to offer gamers more information on the upcoming Onslaught downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts via a set of new screenshots.

On the official Facebook page, the company explains, "Welcome to Onslaught, the first downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts, featuring four unique Multiplayer Maps, an all-new dual purpose Assault Rifle & Sniper Rifle, and the first installment in Extinction’s four-part episodic narrative."

The DLC is designed to keep fans interested in the multiplayer side of the shooter, while also giving them a few more options linked to the Extinction mode, newly added for last year's installment.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught will be launched on January 28 on the Xbox Live service for Microsoft and gamers who play on other platforms will probably have to wait about one month before getting access.
