Activision has released a new statement about the upcoming Onslaught DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts, denying the fact that it will come out for the PS4 platform tomorrow, February 6, as initially mentioned on the PlayStation blog.

Call of Duty: Ghosts came out last November across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms and last week it received its very first DLC, in the form of the Onslaught map pack.

The add-on came out for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 editions of the game and PC, PS3, and PS4 users were left waiting for any news about the release date of the add-on on their platforms.

Yesterday, on the PS blog, Sony mentioned that Onslaught would appear on PS4 tomorrow, February 6.

Now, Activision has told Videogamer that the date was incorrect and that it would confirm an actual launch date for Onslaught on the PS4 and other platforms in the future.

Considering previous release schedules, the DLC might appear at the end of February.
