Developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision moved fast to take down the leaked launch trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts that appeared yesterday, but the two companies have decided to deliver an official version of the video to keep fans satisfied.

The official announcement states, "Outnumbered and outgunned, but not outmatched. Call of Duty: Ghosts takes players to a world altered by a devastating mass event."

The trailer itself is pretty impressive because it shows the setting of the game and manages to deliver that sense of doom and redemption that the Infinity Ward team is going for.

The story of Ghosts is not linked to the timeline of either Black Ops or Modern Warfare.

The shooter will be out on November 5 all over the world on the PC, the Wii U and current-gen consoles, with the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 getting Access to it when they become available.
