Gamers will need a powerful graphics card and a lot of hard drive space

After a stream of rumors and false reveals coming from various companies, the development team at Infinity Ward has finally launched the minimum system requirements for the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The list of necessary hardware and software includes, according to the official forums:

Windows 7 64-Bit or Windows 8 64-Bit Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHZ or AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHZ or better 6 GB of RAM 40 GB of free hard drive space Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 or ATI Radeon HD 5870 or better DirectX compatible sound card DirectX 11 Broadband Internet connection for Steam and Online Multiplayer.

Infinity Ward and publisher Activision are not yet ready to offer a set of recommended specifications for the coming shooter.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launched on November 5, 2013 all over the world and can also be played on the Xbox 360, the Wii U and the PlayStation 3.

Versions are also being prepared for next-gen consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
