After releasing the teaser trailer and the first details about Call of Duty: Ghosts, Activision has confirmed that the new shooter can now be pre-ordered at retail outlets worldwide.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is the next installment in the hugely successful franchise and promises to deliver a next-generation experience with a new engine and story.

We have already seen a teaser trailer and learned that more details would be shared on May 21, at Microsoft's next-generation Xbox reveal event.

Now, Activision has confirmed through a statement that Call of Duty: Ghosts is available for pre-order worldwide in retail stores.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will come out on November 5 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms. The title is also set to appear for next-generation consoles like the PlayStation 4 and next Xbox.
