Infinity Ward, the developer of the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts, will reveal the game's multiplayer mode sometime in August, probably at Gamescom 2013, which is held right in the middle of the month.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is eagerly awaited by the franchise's millions of fans from around the world.

As of yet, however, developer Infinity Ward has only showed glimpses of the single-player campaign, although the multiplayer got some attention through the free pre-order bonus map called Free Fall.

Now, Infinity Ward boss Mark Rubin revealed on Twitter that the multiplayer mode will be properly revealed in August.

This time frame coincides with the Gamescom 2013 event, which is one of the biggest gaming conferences in the world, and takes place between August 21 and August 25.

As of yet, however, no other details have been made available.
