The first images with the multiplayer mode from Call of Duty: Ghosts has apparently been leaked on the web, although the screenshots might actually be fake.

Call of Duty: Ghosts was revealed to the world last month, and Activision is expected to show off the game's online mode next week, at E3 2013.

Until then, a YouTube user has just posted a video comprised of screenshots with the multiplayer mode from Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The alleged images are from the game's PS3 edition and show not just gameplay but also the interface and the main menu which contains a mention to single-player, multiplayer, and something called Elite mode.

Before Call of Duty fans get too excited, however, the actual in-game shot contains a pretty glaring error, as the character is shown with three hands: one on the left, one holding the actual gun, and one on the gun's grip, according to an analysis on NeoGAF.

As of yet, the legitimacy of the leak is unclear, so expect some actual details next week, during E3 2013.
